Designed by Zeynep Fadillioglu, the 270-room Marti Istanbul Hotel has opened its doors. Fadillioglu employs a modern Ottoman aesthetic through rich colors, textures, textiles, and architecture.
Drenched in natural light, the hotel’s striking atrium lobby boasts sparkling chandeliers, a winding staircase, and wall-panel mirrors. Art plays a major role throughout the hotel, as Fadilloglu worked closely with a team of Turkish artists to create hand-painted wall designs.

A purple and blue palette defines the luxurious guestrooms, outfitted with marble and glass-enclosed bathrooms with separate rainforest showers. Suites feature lavish hammam-style basins surrounded by richly textured mosaics. The Regal Suite serves as the crown jewel of accommodations, offering Bosphorus views, a warm living room with dining area and piano, kitchen, study, walk-in closet, and a hammam-style bathroom with Jacuzzi.
The 8,600-square-foot spa is the picture of serenity with four hammams, three saunas, two steam rooms, and five treatment rooms, as well as a relaxation area and vitamin bar. An adjacent terrace is home to a glass-enclosed gym.
Guests also have access to a host of F&B venues, including Marti’s restaurant, offering an open kitchen and outdoor seating; Quad Restaurant & Bar, marked by an Ottoman tent adorned with Turkish motifs; piano bar; lobby lounge; and Lounge 11, available exclusively to suite guests. The hotel’s 7,400 square feet of function space rounds out the offerings.
