MAXXI – National Museum of XXI Century Arts debuts in Rome with three days of events May 27-29. The museum, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects will showcase four exhibits starting May 30: Gino de Dominicis: l’Immmortale, curated by Achille Bonito Oliva (through November 7); Luigi Moretti Architetto, From Rationalism to Informalism, curated by Bruno Reichlin and Maristella Casciato (through November 7); and Kutlat Ataman, Mesopotamian Dramaturgies, curated by Cristiana Perrella (through September 12). The fourth exhibition, SPACE (running through January 23, 2011), contemplates the spirit of the museum through the display of 90 works.
