Meliá Hotels & Resorts has opened the Meliá Atlantico – Isla Canela. Situated on the beachfront in Isla Canela, the hotel marks the group’s first debut on the Andalusian province of Huelva in Spain.
Built in 2000 and renovated in 2013, the hotel features traditional Andalusian architecture combined with elegant interiors surrounded by 107,639 square feet of gardens. The hotel provides 358 rooms with private balconies or terraces overlooking the sea or the mouth of River Carreras. Guestrooms include superior rooms with a lounge, family rooms for people traveling with children, and five brightly adorned suites.
F&B options include three bars and a buffet restaurant. Two outdoor swimming pools, one indoor pool, a sun terrace, spa and wellness center, tennis and paddle tennis courts, a gym, and a children’s playground complete the amenities.
