Meliá Hotels International has signed an agreement with Grupo Armas to open five Innside by Meliá hotels in Chile. The agreement marks the first American properties for the Innside by Meliá brand.
As part of the agreement, the companies also signed the management contract for the first of the five hotels⎯⎯the Innside Santiago⎯⎯to be developed in Santiago de Chile in the next five years. The hotel will offer 120 rooms, a restaurant, bar, and gym, plus 2,690 square feet of meeting and event rooms.
Both Meliá Hotels International and Grupo Armas will also look for opportunities to develop the brand in countries where Grupo Armas is already active, such as Peru and Colombia.
