The Meritage Resort and Spa in Napa, California, has unveiled the results of its $40 million expansion. The property features 165 new guestrooms and suites featuring oversized bathrooms, workspaces, and private patios or balconies overlooking the event piazza (complete with croquet lawn and outdoor fireplace) or nine acres of private vineyards. Three new suites offer a full-size fridge and bar, as well as fireplace and separate bedroom, while the two-story, 1,280-square-foot Bacchus Suite boasts space for meetings and small receptions, as well as four flatscreen TVs.

At the multilevel Crush Ultra Lounge, guests have access to a pool table, shuffleboard, bowling, and dining. Blend Café, meanwhile, offers gourmet coffees and baked goods. Additional amenities include a new 7,300-square-foot ballroom and the 1,650-square-foot fitness studio equipped with floor-to-ceiling doors that open onto a private balcony.
