MGM Mirage shareholders have approved the company’s name change to MGM Resorts International. “We believe this evolution honors our heritage, better represents the growing global presence our company has today, and positions us to move forward under a unified brand strategy,” says chairman and CEO Jim Murren. “The new MGM Resorts International name will create better clarity and awareness for our collection of assets globally thereby maximizing our best-in-class portfolio of resorts.”
MGM Resorts International, which currently has 16 properties in the U.S. and China, is starting to offer its design and management services to develop Bellagio, MGM Grand, and Skylofts projects throughout the world.
