MGM China Holdings Limited, a subsidiary of MGM Resorts International, has received approval to develop a gaming resort in Cotai, Macau. The $2.5 billion property calls for 1,600 rooms, 500 gaming tables, 2,500 slots, multiple entertainment and retail facilities, and a variety of F&B venues. Construction is expected to begin after the publication of the Land Concession Contract in the Official Gazette of Macau and will take up to 36 months to build.
