Sofitel So Singapore has opened its doors in the heart of the Singapore Central Business District.
Designed by Singapore’s only French design house, MIAJA Design Group, and led by designer Isabelle Miaja, Sofitel So Singapore unveils 134 rooms within a So Hip wing and a So Heritage wing. Features include a light-filled atrium, which leads into a lobby lit by a hexagonal light installation and overlooking a golden-tiled rooftop pool.

Commissioned objects featuring Karl Lagerfeld’s “The Lion’s Seal” emblem of the hotel are spotted throughout, including the BooKube, DoorKnockers on the So Heritage Wing, and the bespoke bathrobe en nid d’abeille featuring the red and white “The Lion’s Seal” embroidery. A La BibiloteK decked with a collection of books also sits beside the Xperience Bar.
“Housed within the iconic former telecommunications building, Sofitel So Singapore is the perfect blend of French styling with a chic and very Singaporean twist and will redefine luxury boutique accommodation in the Lion City,” says Michael Issenberg, Accor’s chairman and CEO of Asia Pacific. “Sofitel So is our fashionable, urban designer hotel brand, and we are very excited to open this latest addition to the collection in Singapore.”
Oh-So Stylish Sofitel So Singapore rooms are inspired by 19th-century French decadence with light boxes and images of palatial glass domes, which draw on the traditional architecture of Europe and modern constructions in Singapore. The hotel also features the Modern Epicurean Paradise Xperience.
