MGM Resorts International has promoted Michael Evans to COO of MGM Hospitality.
Joining MGM Hospitality in 2008, Evans began as executive vice president of global development. In his role, he was responsible for implementing MGM Hospitality’s strategic development plan and leading the company’s development team.
He previously held key senior management positions with Marriott International from 1998 to 2008 and was also an attorney in private practice in Miami prior to that position. Evans received his Juris doctorate degree from the University of Miami School of Law and his undergraduate degree in business administration from the University of Florida.
