Millennium UN Plaza Hotel in New York is now known as ONE UN to reflect its location next to the United Nations. The property’s rebranding comes in tandem with the $30 million redesign of the luxury West Tower, the first phase of a three-part renovation. Guestrooms in the building capture the couture spirit of New York and Paris, with plush interiors adorned in bronze and taupe hues, touch-screen environment controls, iPod docking stations, Nespresso machines, and skyline views through floor-to-ceiling windows.
Grace Leo of GLA served as a consultant on the project, while Didier Gomez handled guestroom design. Phase two, which starts next year, will see a new restaurant and bar; the third phase calls for upgrades to the East Tower.
