Interior designer Kristina Wolf is spearheading the remodel of Mira Vista Golf and Country Club in California’s East Bay. Wolf is using reclaimed materials such as wood and furniture that is either recycled or manufactured using green practices to redesign the club’s bar, restaurant, lobby, and women’s lounge.
The design team has reconfigured the interiors to attract a diverse crowd and evoke peace of mind. “We redesigned the restaurant and lounge as areas that invite escape,” Wolf says. “With respect to the original architecture in mind, we want these spaces to serve as a getaway for a diverse crowd that may include people more interested in relaxing with a magazine than playing a round of golf.”
