Moevenpick Hotels & Resorts has entered the Singapore market with the soft opening of Moevenpick Heritage Hotel Sentosa. (A grand launch is slated for the end of the year.) The 5-Star hotel depicts the colonial history and contemporary flair of the country in its two distinct wings, with interiors designed by Japanese firm Super Potato.
The initial phase includes the opening of the Contemporary wing, featuring 105 Deluxe rooms; 19 Onsen Suites, three Executive Suites, and two Penthouse Suites will open throughout 2011. The signature Onsen Suites will each feature a Japanese-style hot tub set in a tranquil outdoor sanctuary, while the Penthouse Suites will offer private rooftop pools. Current dining options include Library, a lounge area where guests can enjoy refreshments in comfortable surroundings, and the Tea Lounge, serving breakfast and an international menu.
Meanwhile, the yet-to-open Heritage wing will include an all-day-dining restaurant and the Whisky Bar and Cigar Lounge.
