Morgans Hotel Group will introduce its Delano and Mondrian brands to Morocco. The 73-room Delano Marrakech, opening in September, will feature interiors designed by Jacques Garcia, who will incorporate precious marbles, sumptuous draped velvets, and rare fabrics. Amenities will include a 20,000-square-foot spa, three private pools, roof deck, subterranean nightclub, and French and Italian restaurants from chefs Michel Rostang and Giancarlo Morelli, respectively.
In late 2013, the 69-key Mondrian Marrakech will open as part of a complex with extensive fitness facilities, several F&B outlets, and spa facilities.
