Ignazio and Maggio Cipriani, fourth generation of a family known for its restaurants, banquet spaces, clubs, and residences, have announced the debut of Mr. C, a signature hotel brand opening its first property in Los Angeles in spring 2011.
Designed with an eye toward old world simplicity and European glamour, the property features 138 guestrooms (including 12 suites) ranging from 365 to 800 square feet and outfitted in dark hardwood floors, burgundy and gray color palettes, and crisp white accents. Vintage black and white film photography brings iconic and historic cultural moments to life on the walls, and well-appointed bathrooms feature teak flooring, marble accents, and signature amenities.
Also planned are five multilevel residential-sized bungalows, designed by architect Ray Kappe to include a gourmet kitchen, private garden, plunge pool, and views of Beverly Hills. Additional amenities include a restaurant, an outdoor pool, and event space.
