The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas has unveiled its Pool District, offering three distinct experiences designed by Friedmutter Group:
The Boulevard Pool is situated at the center of the Pool District and overlooks the heart of the Strip, offering unobstructed views of the Las Vegas skyline. The combination of lively music and a laid-back ambiance creates a vibrant social scene. Private cabanas can be reserved and offer guests the latest EA video games, while poolside refreshments are served with vintage-style trays and custom food carts.
The multi-level space can be converted into an entertainment venue by extending the pool deck over the pool, creating a unique venue for live musical acts. The Boulevard Pool can accommodate more than 3,000 people for private events or concerts.
Guests can also experience the Yard, an energetic area for viewing and playing recreational games such as ping-pong, volleyball, foosball, and billiards. In addition, the venue features HD television screens that allow guests to play the latest video games as well as watch sporting events.
Located above the Yard is the Overlook Grill, a casual indoor and outdoor dining experience. The restaurant offers a nostalgic, nautical setting, where large black and white murals depict beach club scenes between teak wood panels, and orange plaid and navy blue cushions flank yellow vintage Sunbrella banquettes.
The Bamboo Pool, adjacent to the spa, offers guests an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. The 10 private cabanas that surround the pool feature flatscreen TVs, iPod docks, mini-bars, sectional sofas, ceiling fans, and misters. Large tulip-shaped umbrellas provide shade, and a misting wall is located by towel service.
The Bamboo pool offers fresh and organic options for poolside dining. Two teakwood bars made from colorful glass mosaics are located at either end of the pool area.
The Marquee Dayclub extends the energy and excitement of the nightclub to the outdoors, embracing sunny days on the Las Vegas Strip with a lavish, adults-only offering for the spring and summer seasons. Spanning 22,000 square feet of the expansive multi-level 60,000- square-foot entertainment complex designed by David Rockwell, the Dayclub boasts two pools, several bars, and a gaming area featuring six blackjack tables.
Exclusive experiences await in one of the eight cabanas, which feature infinity-edge glass dipping pools, flatscreen TVs, and dedicated cocktail and food service. Exclusive bungalows dot the perimeter of the Dayclub, complete with overnight quarters, individual spas, and an open-air party deck.
