New York City will see its first gay resort with The Out NYC, located in Hell’s Kitchen. The project calls for a 105-room boutique hotel; an 11,000-square-foot nightclub, lounge, and cabaret; a 24/7 restaurant; three courtyards; business and conference space; and a wellness center. The nightclub, opening this fall, is the first phase of the resort. The space will be the first nightly gay dance club to open in New York in the last 15 years and will feature an LED wall, two dance floors, and a full stage.
“What makes The Out NYC a gay hotel is the comfort level and tailored amenities for the community,” says Ian Reisner of Parkview Developers, adding that it will become a “‘can’t-miss’ for gay tourists as well as the epicenter of gay life for LGBT New Yorkers. With New York’s recent legislation, we look forward not only to hosting countless gay couples, but marrying them as well.
