The NEWH North Carolina Regional Group is hosting the inaugural Hospitality Designer Day at High Point Market in High Point, North Carolina on October 22nd.
Sponsored by NEWH, the event presents an opportunity for hospitality designers to visit the world’s largest furnishings industry trade show and experience manufacturers’ products and capabilities in depth. Invitations will be extended to the NEWH hospitality design communities in Washington D.C., Virginia, and the Atlanta area.
“Many manufacturers who have High Point showrooms are also major suppliers to the hospitality industry-giving hospitality designers from this region a great reason to attend the High Point Market,” says Karen Appert, steering committee chairperson of the NEWH NC Regional Group. “The hope is to bring together hospitality designers and suppliers to help support each other in this region.”
Highlights of the day include showroom visits from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and a variety of seminars, presentations, and CEUs. After a day of showroom visits, the event will culminate with a cocktail party hosted by NEWH patron sponsor American Leather.
