Novotel Amsterdam City has reopened following a major renovation that added meeting rooms and dining facilities and updated guestrooms. Boparai Associates handled the construction, while Proof Design oversaw interiors. The hotel’s new glass façade gives the characteristic hotel a clean and modern look, while new energy-saving measures such as double glazed windows were implemented during the refurbishment.
The new 15,000-square-foot convention center can accommodate up to 1,000 guests; another 10 smaller meeting rooms also have been built on the first floor. Restaurants were also revamped and now include Asian outlet Shoyu and the recently launched concept restaurant@Novotel.
