The Oberoi, Gurgaon opens on April 1 outside of Delhi, India. The hotel is set within an urban oasis, spread over acres of lush landscaping and featuring impressive fountains and pools. Guests arrive via a winding forest driveway to reveal the property, featuring a vertical 10,000 square foot garden wall merging with the lake below. The architecture centers upon a “Jewel Box,” a minimalist edifice in glass and stainless steel that houses the lobby on the fifth floor and the dining and meeting facilities. The space overlooks an expansive 36,000-square-foot reflecting pool, flanked by the residential area and a luxury retail arcade on both sides. Two glazed retail pavilions are situated on the opposite side of the lobby block, completing the rectangle.
Starting at 620 square feet, the 202 guestrooms-designed by LTW Designworks-offer floor-to-ceiling windows. F&B options include an all-day-dining restaurant, an Indian seafood specialty concept, a bar, delicatessen, and the country’s first exclusive Cigar Lounge. Additional amenities include a spa, fitness center, and contemporary Indian art gallery.
