Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club on Cape Cod in Brewster, Massachusetts, is wrapping up renovations to 90 guestrooms located in its Mansion wing. “We wanted the new Mansion guestrooms to come alive with texture and detail that embody a Cape holiday, but with a fresh and modern approach to color and styling,” says designer Linda Snyder of Linda Snyder Associates. “Layers of detail in bedding, built-ins, artwork, and accent features will bring a modern feel to the Mansion guest wings while maintaining a nod to the traditions of Cape Cod.”

Drapery treatment at the headboards, as well as custom embroidery on pillows and duvets by textile designer Andrew Morgan, lends an air or romanticism. Custom entertainment centers offer guests flexible work and dining space flanked by shelving containing flatscreen TVs, books, games, and artifacts relevant to the Cape. Enhanced dressing rooms feature an additional sink and vanity area, while bathrooms boast large-scale vanity mirrors and modern glass tub enclosures.

Starting in Q4 2012, the resort’s Bay Pines Villas also will undergo an overhaul, marked by a color scheme of seafoam, coral, and wheat.
