The Omni Amelia Island Plantation has unveiled an $85 million, 16-month renovation of the lobby, outdoor areas, and guestrooms.
The new Oceanside wing featuring 155 new rooms also houses the renovated lobby area, which was reconfigured for better interaction with the nearby water, while the renovated Sunrise wing boasts 249 rooms.
Directly off the lobby, there’s a new large pool deck with lounge seating, three fire features, food and beverage services, and expanded changing facilities. A tiered area offers an adult infinity-edge pool, as well as a splash pool and park, and two hot tubs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.
Omni Amelia Island Plantation now features more than 80,000 square feet of function space in the onsite conference center to accompany events of up to 1,800 attendees. The 16,800-square-foot Magnolia ballroom, the 11,165-square-foot Amelia ballroom, and the 5,465-square-foot Cumberland ballroom are among the spaces included. Pre-function, exhibit space, and 37 breakout rooms complete the conference center.
