Omni Hotels & Resorts will develop a hotel at USA Place, a new multiuse development in Tempe, Arizona, housing the national headquarters of USA Basketball. Located adjacent to Arizona State University, the 330-room hotel will reflect its mountain, desert, and national park surroundings, as well as the area’s Native American heritage.
Plans call for a restaurant, several bars, indoor and outdoor lounges, retail outlets, 30,000 square feet of meeting and event space, and a pool and fitness center. USA Place will feature a 4,500-seat events center, 500 luxury apartments, conference facilities, retail, and office space.
Construction will start at the end of 2013, with the hotel, conference center, event center, and first phase of residential and retail scheduled to open during the second half of 2015.
