Palace Hotel Tokyo will open May 17 next to the iconic Imperial Palace. The property will showcase distinctive Japanese design and hospitality. At its entrance, for instance, Aji stone walls echo the same stonework lining the imperial moats. Starting at 484 square feet, guestrooms include six categories of accommodations, as well 12 suites, and offer expansive views of surroundings.

For dining, the hotel is aiming for Michelin-star restaurants, including French venue Crown, Japanese restaurant Wadakura, and Chinese restaurant Amber Palace. Guests also have access to an additional six restaurants and bars, Evian spa, and 17 retail outlets.
