The Italian fashion company, Versace, plans to complete a 5-Star hotel in Macau. Slated to open in 2017, Palazzo Versace Macau will be housed in a 20-story tower with a built-up area of over 365,973 square feet.
The design of the hotel is underway with construction to commence within the next few months. Sociedade de Jogos de Macau, S.A. (“SJM”) will develop and operate the hotel, while Versace will provide the stylistic and artistic direction.
Making up part of SJM’s integrated casino resort in Cotai, Macau, the hotel will consist of 270 rooms and suites, one gourmet restaurant, a spa, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and retail space. Versace will develop designs for interiors and furnishings of all guestrooms and common areas and will also provide a range of products unique to the property.
“Palazzo Versace will enrich Macau with a unique property aiming to provide an exclusive experience and become a destination within a destination,” says Gian Giacomo Ferraris, CEO of Versace. “At the same time, Palazzo Versace Macau will be a prestigious and powerful window in a priority market for us.”
