Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, has wrapped up its extensive expansion and makeover. Many of the upgrades are targeted toward the all-inclusive luxury resort’s Royal Service guests. The property added 110 Royal Service Suites, outfitted with Jacuzzis, flatscreen TVs, and customized mini bars. Meanwhile, a new bi-level Royal Service Lounge boasts a VIP welcome area and Italian restaurant Il Palazzo. Located adjacent to the new Royal Service pool, the Royal Service ECO Spa showcases a water ritual area comprising two hot tubs, pool with hydrotherapy, cold plunge, pediluvio foot bath, showers, steam room, and sauna.

The rest of the resort also received new spaces, including YHI Moves, a 2,000-square-foot fitness area; the Red Lounge, which changes ambiance as the day progressions; the fine-dining outlet Passion by Martin Berasategui; and the GABi Beach club.
