Paramount Hotels & Resorts has licensed the Paramount Pictures name to create up to 50 properties with a Hollywood theme. “We will offer something unique,” Paramount Hotels & Resorts CEO Thomas Van Vliet tells Bloomberg. “In addition to luxury and services, our hotels will add Paramount entertainment and technology as well as elements of the California lifestyle.”
Locations are expected in Brazil, the U.K., the Caribbean, Russia, and Qatar, with some hotels opening as part of theme parks or casinos. The properties’ movie roots will be evident in mini-theaters for private film screenings and a library of Paramount titles.
