Park Hyatt Chennai has opened its doors in India with a tranquil, sophisticated design. A lily pond situated in the inner courtyard reflects the serenity of the surrounding Guindy National Park, while inside, custom-made art installations have been curated around the concept of Indian textiles and heritage.
The hotel’s 201 opulent guestrooms and suites showcase travertine marble floors, plush hand-tufted rugs, and polished marble bathrooms with deep-soak bathtubs. In addition, all suites feature stone plunge tubs. Dining options include the Dining Room and the Flying Elephant, opening in 2013. Guests also can access Antahpura Spa and a fitness center equipped with a yoga studio, hot and cold plunge pools, and steam and sauna facilities.
