Pechanga Resort & Casino plans to renovate its hotel grand entry, hotel lobby, and rooftop nightclub, as well as all of its hotel Jacuzzi suites by the end of the year. In addition to these upgrades, the resort is also making over three of its existing 10 restaurants and adding an 11th food and beverage outlet.
Designed by Las Vegas-based interior designer Ann Fleming of Cleo Design, the renovations will accentuate the hotel’s high ceilings and expound on its water features⎯⎯including a 25-foot-high rain curtain. Other highlights include such luxurious finishes as 20,000 square feet of marble flooring and live wood edges on the reception tables.
“The property is now a little over 10 years old and it is time for a renovation of our grand entry and some of the restaurants,” says Patrick Murphy, Pechanga development corporation president. “The new look will be elegant, timeless and will still convey the importance and use of natural elements for the Pechanga people.”
Beginning in early October, Pechanga is also transforming the Eagle’s Nest rooftop nightclub into an expanded venue by removing walls that currently separate adjoining meeting space. Lit branches on the walls, natural wood and stone finishes, and colorful furniture and accessories will add to the nest-like atmosphere.
The Pechanga Café and Blazing Noodles restaurants are also being overhauled concurrently. Several of the architectural elements of the Pechanga Café will remain intact⎯⎯such as grand archways and stonework that recall the Southern California region. The Seafood Grotto will add a long dining bar flanked by tables and booths. A new-build coffee shop will complete the restaurant additions.
