San Francisco-based design and architecture firm Perkins Eastman has appointed John L. Miller as the firm’s associate principal.
Previously serving as the firm’s architect of record and medical planner, Miller will now focus on enhancing the scope and versatility of the west coast office’s regional healthcare practice.
“John will be a tremendous asset to our healthcare practice in San Francisco,” says Leslie Moldow, managing principal of Perkins Eastman. “[He] will significantly strengthen our ties to the local market.”
Prior to joining Perkins Eastman, Miller led healthcare studios for the Sacramento offices of Stantec Architecture and HMC Architects. He also presided for 15 years over Miller Technika Architecture + Planning, which he founded in 1988. Working as a licensed architect in California, Oregon, and Washington State, Miller is a member of the American Institute of Architects, certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
