Perkins+Will New York has promoted seven designers in its Manhattan-based office.

Promoted to associate principal, Filippo Soave will serve a range of corporate, commercial, and civic clients. His experience includes work with IBM, Goldman Sachs, Bain Capital, and Bloomberg.

Steven South was promoted to senior associate. He has previously worked for corporate, higher education, K-12 education, government, and institutional clients, including some historic preservation projects. South also has designed offices for a confidential media client in Beijing, Dublin, and Sydney, while designing projects for the Johns Hopkins Hospital, MetLife, and Leftfield Pictures. Steve is president-elect of IIDA New York.
With a 12-year-career in design behind him, Ted Shaw was promoted to senior associate. His experience includes schools, hospitals, medical centers, specialized treatment centers, and senior living facilities. New York University’s Langone Medical Center, Maimonides Medical Center, as well as the Promesa Systems Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Center in the Bronx are a few of Shaw’s clients.
Amy S. Mays was promoted to associate. During her 13 years of experience as an interior designer and healthcare planner, Mays has worked to create healing environments and has cultivated knowledge of patient-centered care and evidence-based design. Recent projects include the Dell Children’s Medical Center of Central Texas, the first acute-care hospital to achieve LEED Platinum certification. 

Breeze Glazer⎯⎯promoted to associate⎯⎯works to redefine the role and impact of the built environment on human and ecological health. His work with Perkins+Will has included acute care hospitals, academic medical centers, and transitional homeless shelters, with clients ranging from Duke University Hospital and
Stanford University Medical Center.
With a promotion to associate, Leslie Jenkins has brought over 15 years of global marketing experience from her previous role of director of corporate marketing. Previously, Jenkins served in both marketing and business development positions at Goshow Architects, Langan Engineering, and T.Y. Lin International. Several of her projects have received national awards, including a website redesign that earned the ZweigWhite’s Marketing Excellence Award.

Scott Yocom was promoted to associate with 12 years of experience in both public and private buildings ranging in scale from $300-$400 million. His recent projects include Kuwait University College of Education, Terminal 4 at John F. Kennedy Airport, and the Four Seasons Hotel in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
