Raffles Hotels & Resorts has appointed Peter French as president. He succeeds John Johnston, who is retiring at year’s end. Most recently, French held the dual role of regional vice president – Europe, Middle East, & Africa for Raffles Hotels & Resorts and general manager of Raffles Dubai. Over the next few years, the company will open properties in Makati City, the Philippines; Hainan, China; Istanbul, Turkey; and Jakarta, Indonesia.
