The SLS Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is set for a grand opening over Labor Day weekend at the former site of the Sahara Hotel & Casino.
Designed by Philippe Starck and Gensler, the $415-million hotel and casino remodel will feature more than 1,600 rooms and suites across three towers.
Starck is overseeing the interiors, while Gensler is remodeling the 2.2 million square feet of public space, including a 66,000-square-foot casino. The layout includes a new restaurant, The Bazaar by Jose Andrés, as well as Katsuya by Starck, the Sayers Club, and Unami Burger, as well as a 10,000-square-foot Fred Segal retail store.
