Anchoring Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, the Plaza Hotel and Casino will reopen in September following a $35 million renovation. The overhaul touched upon the property’s 1,037 guestrooms, gaming floor, and restaurants. Accommodations were stripped from top to bottom and replaced with new wallcoverings, furnishings such as leather desk chairs, floors, and fixtures, much of which was purchased from the stalled Fontainebleau project on the Strip.
