The InterContinental Porto-Palacio das Cardosas has opened as the brand’s first property in Portugal. Set in Porto’s main square, the hotel-designed by Russian architect Alex Kravetz-occupies a renovated 200-year-old palace. High ceilings and Portuguese décor define the hotel, which has 105 guestrooms, 16 suites, Café Astoria, a bar, fine dining restaurant, meeting space, gym, and wellness center.
