Postcard Inn on the Beach in St. Pete Beach, Florida, has opened as an affordable refuge and beachgoer’s escape. Owned by B.R. Guest Restaurants, whose president, Stephen Hanson, created the James Hotel, the Postcard Inn is designed as a relaxing vintage American beach getaway.
Reminiscent of surfers’ digs, each guestroom offers quirky décor elements including vintage light fixtures, refurbished surf gear, and cozy bedding. Co-designed by B.R. Guest design director Tara Oxley and SL Design founder Chris Sheffield, the hotel offers rooms that overlook the gulf, garden, or pool. Select rooms boast private poolside patios. Every room comes equipped with a work station, flatscreen television, and desk, but no two rooms are exactly the same.
F&B venues include New York City outlet Wildwood BBQ & Burger, PCI Beach Bar, and the poolside PCI Snack Shack. Guests have access to a variety of amenities, including a gym with cardio and weight room, bike rental, outdoor volleyball and basketball, local fishing and excursions, dolphin sightseeing trips, and outdoor movies.
