ICRAVE has brought a fantasy world to the new Provocateur nightclub in New York City’s Meatpacking District. The space, formerly home to One and Garden of Ono, welcomes guests to a whimsical experience with dollhouse-inspired drapery that opens up to a picturesque center garden. Rising 25 feet to a retractable roof, the venue blends tall silver birch trees, hanging iron bird cages, stone carved statues, and fur-covered hanging swings and benches draped in romantic multi-colored floral fabric.
Eight private staged "rooms" frame the lounge, each with its own custom graphic collages depicting surreal, playful vignettes as if part of a dollhouse. A purple houndstooth mirror forms the backdrop for the main bar and an overhang covered in toile showcases architectural scenes from the neighborhood.
A hidden door transports guests to a second provocative space, a high-energy house music nightclub that exudes a regal sensuality with shades of lavender, black, and touches of gold. Vinyl tufted banquettes are topped with catwalks for dancing and gritty vintage subway handles. A black lingerie lace motif clad on the focal-piece mirrored DJ booth and vintage black chandeliers evoke a subtle feminine allure. Custom designed oversized black light-lit angel wings reign over the main bar, providing a seductive silhouette for dancers. Inspired by the annual Burning Man festival in Nevada, ICRAVE founder Lionel Ohayon recruited Joe Snider "Spider" and Yarrow Mazzetti of Overkill to create this signature element. To give the main bar a rough-hewn edge, ICRAVE tapped NYC fashion designer Roberto Calasanz to create custom leather liquor bottle slings that showcase bottles of champagne in a jewel-like fashion. A
