Lark Hotels has hired Rachel Reider Interiors to redesign the Attwater, a 12-key boutique hotel in Newport, Rhode Island. Reider will replace the mismatched, outdated décor with nautical influences in guestrooms, the lounge, dining room, sitting areas, and deck. The color palette will include turquoise and navy, mixed with crisp colors such as orange, apple green, and black, to create a coastal feel, while materials such as silver nailheads and grommets and lacquered finishes similar to what might be found on a boat also will permeate the spaces.
