Radisson Blu Hotel, Nantes in France has opened within a former courthouse. Architect Jacques Cholet and interior designer Jean-Philippe Nuel have maintained elements of the 1851 building while adding distinctly modern touches. The hotel’s 142 guestrooms showcase brown tones and white furniture designed exclusively for the project, along with art iconographies reminiscent of the pieces shown in Nantes’ museums.

L’Assise restaurant is located in the former court room, while the former trial judge section serves as a wine cellar. In the evening, the room’s upper walls transform into a projection screen. Rounding out the F&B options is Le Préambule, highlighted by grandiose columns and a white wing used as a hosting table. Other amenities include meeting space and a spa.
