The Radisson Hotel at Opryland is beginning a $7 million renovation of the property’s 303 guestrooms, 16,000 square feet of meeting space, atrium, and lobby. The hotel will remain open throughout the project, which is expected to be complete by late spring. Developed by Atlanta firm Design Continuum, Inc., the updated interiors will pair the use of rich, deep colors with natural materials and textures, such as American oak and walnut woods, red brick, leather, cowhide, textured woven fabrics, denim, and wrought iron. Art, artifacts, accessories, and crafts reminiscent of the hotel’s Music City location will be used to reinforce a sense of place.
