The Radisson Hotel New Rochelle in New York has revealed the results of its $2 million renovation. The hotel’s owner, Peter Brock, and his daughter, Colby Brock-an interior designer-elevated the design level to attain a sophisticated, at-home feel. All 129 guestrooms now feature rich wood furniture, tufted headboards, wool carpet, new window treatments, flatscreen TVs, and work stations. Renovations to the guest baths are underway to include marble, glass shower doors, and spa-like amenities.
A redesigned lobby showcases white marble, cultured stone, and inlaid wood. Banquet suites are undergoing a makeover to create a temporary feel, while the grand ballroom will feature cove lighting, wall sconces, a crystal chandelier, and new carpet and chairs. The restaurant also is going through a transformation, reopening as NoMa Social this spring.
