Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, located in the upscale enclave of Rancho Santa Fe near San Diego, has embarked on a $20 million renovation spearheaded by Todd-Avery Lenahan of TAL Studio. Boasting 1,000 square feet each, the property’s 49 all-suite accommodations will receive a new color palette of brown and blue tones, along with rustic furnishings and plush seating. The 5,000-square-foot Hacienda also is undergoing changes to its three bedrooms, baths, living spaces, backyard pool, and entertainment areas.
A new restaurant outfitted with old-world furnishings, enlarged windows, fireplaces, and a new cantina-inspired bar area will take its inspiration from the resort’s Mediterranean style. The spa, fitness center, and meeting spaces also will undergo a refurbishment and expansion.
