Following a $30 million renovation, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa has reopened in San Diego’s Rancho Santa Fe neighborhood. The Mediterranean-inspired property’s 49 guest casitas feature custom-made rustic furnishings, high-beam roofs, walk-in closets, spacious bathrooms with deep soaking tubs, fireplaces, and private patios outfitted with fireplaces and whirlpools.
The clubhouse is home to Veladora, the resort’s new signature restaurant, as well as the Pony Room bar and a new boutique called Sheridan. Redesigned event spaces include a board room, a 1,900-square-foot ballroom, and 7,600-square-foot Croquet Lawn featuring panoramic views. In addition, the spa and fitness center expanded its classes, treatments, and wellness programs, while all 18 tennis courts were resurfaced.
