Real estate magnate Willard Hackerman hopes to help fund a $900 million development near Baltimore’s Inner Harbor that would include a major league arena, expanded conference center, and a hotel, according to the Baltimore Business Journal. The 500-key hotel would sit on top of the arena, while the arena’s concourse would connect to the expanded conference facilities.
Local architecture firm Ayers Saint Gross has been tapped to design the project, which could take anywhere from four to seven years to complete.
