Architectural firms ReardonSmith of London and Savile Row of South Africa are joining forces for a new resort community in Mozambique, which will span one mile of sandy beach along the Indian Ocean. The firms will design the resort to be minimally invasive, respecting the existing dune forests, lakes, and savanna grasslands. In addition, a large portion of the site will be dedicated to providing a habitat for indigenous wildlife and flora, as well as an agricultural zone. Upon completion, the resort will have an upscale hotel and leisure and conference facilities.
