Red Lion Hotels Corporation has announced plans for a new brand segment: the Leo Hotel Collection. Currently in final development, the brand will complement the redefined segmentation of Red Lion Hotels and Red Lion Inns & Suites.
Based on guest input, Red Lion’s brand segmentation now is more clearly designed. Red Lion Inn & Suites offers limited-service hotels; Red Lion Hotels features restaurants and banquet meeting space; and the new Leo Hotel Collection will include unique lodgings and experiences. Made up of boutique and historic hotels, Leo Hotel Collection brand segmentation is part of Red Lion’s efforts to attract new guests and provide current guests with extended options.
“With three brand segments, we can now match the hotel, its amenities, and offerings for our guests with the right brand option,” says Ron Burgett, EVP, Lodging and Brand Development for Red Lion Hotels. “The Leo Hotel Collection offers additional appeal for independent hotels looking for access to a franchise distribution system while maintaining their unique image and identity.”
Along with its rebranding, Red Lion is working with TravelClick to redesign its website presence in guest service. The announcement also coincides with the launch of Red Lion’s rebranding and refreshed logo.
