Regent will open two luxury resorts in Asia this year. Debuting in September, the Regent Phuket Cape Panwa, Thailand will boast 70 suites and villas with private pools and sun lounges overlooking the Andaman Sea. The Regent Spa will have eight treatment rooms and a 200-foot infinity pool. Guests also have access to four restaurants and bars. Jaya Ibrihim and Blink Design Group will be responsible for interiors.
Meanwhile, the Regent Bali opens in December on a four-acre estate on the island’s southeastern coast. All 95 suites will have 180-degree views of the Indian Ocean, as well as handcrafted furniture made from fossilized wood. The 25 villas will have private pools as well as a full kitchen, dining and living rooms, and either two or three bedrooms. Amenities include four restaurants and bars, a spa, private spa suites, and a spa villa.
