Renaissance Barcelona Fira Hotel has opened as the brand’s second property in the Spanish city this year. Architectural firm Ateliers Jean Nouvel designed the hotel’s two towers, which rise 361 feet and are joined at the top by a panoramic restaurant and terrace. A vertical garden of 300 palm trees and natural vegetation surrounds the sleek, monochrome façade. Design firm Ribas & Ribas also worked on the project.
Tranquility defines the interiors, from vegetation filling the corridors and atrium to the 357 light, airy guestrooms equipped with leaf-shaped lighting. F&B options include Palmer restaurant, rooftop bar El Cel, and the Oasis lobby bar. Other amenities include rooftop and indoor pools, a fitness center, solarium, and 11 meeting rooms.
