The first quarter of 2012 was a busy one for Rezidor, which opened four new hotels representing nearly 1,000 guestrooms. In that same period, the company also signed six properties with more than 1,400 rooms. The openings include:
- Park Inn by Radisson Rosa Khutor, Russia
- Radisson Blu Hotel Istanbul Asia, Turkey
- Okoume Palace Hotel Libreville, Gabon
- Radisson Blu Hotel Mersin, Turkey
Additional hotels slated to open this year include Radisson Blu Hotel Lusaka in Zambia, the Radisson Blu Hotel Doha in Qatar, the Park Inn London Wembley, and the Park Inn by Radisson Lille in France. Rezidor’s overall goal is to have 400-plus hotels with 100,000 rooms in operation, and another 100-plus hotels and more than 20,000 rooms under development, covering a total of 75 countries by 2015.
