Designed by Al Rasheed Engineering Company and constructed by Oger International, the Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh has opened its doors in Saudi Arabia. The hotel-whose stately architecture is modeled on traditional palaces and elegant Arabian residences-creates a palatial sense of arrival through its 52 acres of landscaped gardens comprising native palms, 600-year-old olive trees from Lebanon, and water fountains.

All 493 guestrooms and suites are elegantly styled using the vibrant colors and ethnic textures of the region, with subtle touches reflecting the kingdom’s Arabic heritage. For F&B, guests can choose from Al Orjouan, the signature all-day-dining buffet featuring Lebanese favorites; cigar lounge Turquoise; Chorisia Lounge for leisurely breakfast, lunch, or afternoon tea; Strike, the indoor six-lane bowling alley; and Asian restaurant Hong and Azzuro Italian, flank the indoor pool and offer garden views through floor-to-ceiling windows. Other amenities include 62,000 square feet of meeting and conference space, as well as a full-service men’s health club.
