The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, designed by Otak International, will open in late 2011. The waterfront hotel, whose design is inspired by 15th to early 17th century Renaissance architecture and the urban planning of the city of Venice, comprises 10 buildings arranged in a crescent formation. Guests can choose from 447 luxurious guestrooms and suites, as well as 85 villas, which feature spacious terraces and butler service.
F&B options include an all-day-dining Italian restaurant, a steak and seafood venue, and Middle East and Oriental concepts, along with a rooftop terrace, two poolside bars, and a lobby lounge and bar. ESPA offers 20 treatment rooms, fitness center, and outdoor tennis courts, while a massive pool accentuates the hotel’s landscape. Rounding out the offerings is 22,000 square feet of function space.
